Dear FIBU members, After two rounds of voting we have found a winner-destination for our abroad study trip 2013 - Shanghai. The deadline for enrolment by payment of 1000 DKK is Friday 21.12.12 We are now ready with an update and additional information about the study abroad trip to Shanghai/Beijing. We are happy to inform you that we will visit both Shanghai and Beijing and we are looking forward to a great trip. On the trip we will visit some of the world’s most famous tourist attractions; The Chinese Wall, The Forbidden City and The World Financial Center. At the same time we will try to visit some very interesting companies, such as FlSmidth, DSV, Nasdaq OMX, Grundfos and COWI. The announced price of 7.700 dkk including; airfares, hostels and train between Shanghai and Beijing, is the maximum price. Additionally we will apply for scholarships and grants, which will be used to make the trip even better and be used to pay for things on the trip, so you will have fewer expenses. Already now we are guaranteed to get 800 dkk per person from Aarhus University to the study trip.
The trip will take place March 24 – April 5 2013. The process for enrollment is following: 1. The deadline for enrolment and payment is 21.12.2012 Registration no.: 2412 Account no.: 5498 311 972 2. The remaining amount will be split up in halves. The deadline for payment of 1st half will be 11.01.2013 and for the 2nd half 1.02.2013. Finally it is important to highlight that there is “no return of payments” policy. Thus, we will not be able to return 1000 DKK and the two halves after you pay them. You should be aware that the price, we offer, includes only flight and accommodation. Therefore as it goes for any abroad trip, expect few additional costs, such as visa, vaccinations, insurance fees etc. We will of course provide as much help and information as possible with regards to additional costs. As we can assure you that it will be both academically relevant, but also extremely fun and will provide you with unforgettable experience.
